New International Judo Federation (IJF) Rules:

The International Judo Federation announced on January 16, 2009 that in all IJF sanctioned events, competitors are STRICTLY required to have their LAST NAME on the back of their judogi.

No Koka; 1st Shido = Warning; Tighter rules/control on gis! Gi jackets must reach wrist bone when arm is out-stretched. Pants must touch ankle bones! Otherwise you WILL be disqualified! |
