Technical Official Information
Technical Officials are those dedicated individuals that work behind the scenes to make a Judo tournament a success. They include the Timers, Scorekeepers, Bracket Keepers, Pairing Officials, Weigh-in Officials, Supervisors, Runners, and others.
Having well-trained Technical Officials is an essential part of a successful tournament, and is a great way for a Judo player to find another way to enjoy Judo, and for parents and friends to find a way to be involved. Right now, the best Technical Official training program is offered through the USJA.
